REVERE, Mass. (AP) - Police have arrested four juveniles allegedly involved in what authorities called a “brazen, violent and unprovoked” armed carjacking.

Burlington Chief Michael Kent in a statement said the victim had just pulled into his parking spot at an apartment complex after returning home from work at about 7:30 p.m. Monday and was checking email on his phone when someone opened the driver’s side door, put a gun to his chest, and forced him from the vehicle.

Police say the victim was not hurt but was “visibly shaken.”

Revere police reported that the victim’s 2018 Audi sedan had crashed on Route 1A early Tuesday morning.

Four juvenile males were taken into custody and two BB guns were recovered at the crash site. No ages or names were released.
