Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley fired back at Whoopi Goldberg on Twitter Thursday after “The View” co-host went on a pro-abortion rant telling Republicans to stay out of her “coochie.”

“I’m not going to get in the gutter with Whoopi on this, but listen to both of us and you decide,” Ms. Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, told her 419,000 followers.

On Tuesday’s episode of ABC’s “The View,” Ms. Goldberg erupted after playing a clip of Ms. Haley arguing in a recent speech that liberals who “demand conformity” on abortion are not real feminists. Ms. Golberg countered that anti-abortion conservatives who are “taking choice from people” are “anti-human.”

“I don’t say that everybody has to believe, but I say you want to have choice,” Ms. Goldberg said. “I don’t want you in my coochie. You don’t want me in yours, either.”

Ms. Haley’s tweet Thursday included an edited video of her’s and Ms. Goldberg’s remarks. The video described the former governor’s remarks as “a thoughtful way to discuss a sensitive issue,” compared to Ms. Goldberg, who demonstrated “another way to discuss the issue.”

“Being pro-life is not about being for or against women, it’s about being for a baby’s right to live — the most basic right there is,” Ms. Haley said Monday at the Susan B. Anthony List’s Campaign for Life Gala in Washington, D.C.
