BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Vice President Mike Pence is planning to travel to Montana and Yellowstone National Park next week.

Republican U.S. Sen. Steve Daines, who is up for election next year, says Pence will join him in Billings on Wednesday to talk about efforts to fight the state’s methamphetamine crisis.

The Billings Gazette reports Pence and his wife Karen will then visit Yellowstone National Park on Thursday to tour the park with Interior Secretary David Bernhardt and meet federal workers about rebuilding the National Park Service’s infrastructure.

This is the vice president’s third Billings visit in two years. Pence and President Donald Trump campaigned several times in Montana in State Auditor Matt Rosendale’s failed bid to unseat Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Tester.
