WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont. (AP) - More snowmobilers stranded in the backcountry of southwest Montana have been rescued.

The Gallatin County sheriff’s Office says rescue teams found and rescued two snowmobilers north of West Yellowstone on Thursday.

The two were in good health. Their names were not released, but the sheriff’s office says the two men, aged 29 and 26, were from Minnesota.

They were reported missing about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday by a third man who said they had become separated.

Rescuers were able to able to make radio contact with the snowmobilers about an hour into the search Thursday morning and the found the two about an hour later.



Last Sunday, two separate groups of snowmobilers were rescued in the same general area.
