Liberal activist and comedian Rosie O’Donnell says former Vice President Joe Biden is “too old” to run for the presidency in 2020.

Joe Biden is too old to run for president. Period,” Ms. O’Donnell, who endorsed Sen. Kamala Harris for president earlier this year, tweeted to her 1.11 million followers late Tuesday, including the hashtag, #NO2JOE.

Mr. Biden, 76, would be the oldest president in U.S. history if he were to win against President Trump in 2020. Mr. Trump, who was 70 when he was inaugurated, holds the current record.

Other Hollywood liberals have voiced concerns about Mr. Biden’s age, including Ken Olin, the executive producer of NBC’s “This is Us,” USA Today reported.

“I love @JoeBiden,” Mr. Olin tweeted over the weekend. “His charisma is infectious, his relationship with @BarackObama has always been deeply affecting, & his Everyman quality seems authentic. But I don’t want him to run in 2020. Frankly, I think he’s too old. He is not the same man he was ten years ago. Say no, Joe.”

While Mr. Biden has not officially announced a presidential run, most polls have him leading the pack of 2020 contenders.
