LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Bailee Cotton scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in leading Wyoming over Northern Colorado 68-60 in the first round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament on Thursday night in Laramie.

Wyoming (23-8) advances to the next round on Sunday. The Cowgirls will host Friday night’s winner of South Alabama and Lamar game.

Sladjana Rakovic added 12 points and four rebounds off the bench for the Cowgirls. Marta Gomez and Taylor Rusk each added 11 points.

Northern Colorado (22-11) was led by Alexis Chapman’s 14 points, while Savannah Smith had a game-high seven assists.
