RESERVE, La. (AP) - One man is dead and three other people were wounded in a drive-by shooting.

St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre (TRAIG) says it happened in Reserve Wednesday night.

NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports few details were available, but the sheriff’s office was expected to release additional information later Thursday.

The shootings come three days after authorities say a 16-year-old boy opened fire during a large altercation in LaPlace Monday night, killing 27-year-old Malcolm Johnson. The teen was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder.

Anyone with information about the Reserve homicide is asked to call the sheriff’s office TIPS line at 985-359-TIPS. The public can also call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. Callers can remain anonymous and can earn a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an indictment.
