LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas say two people are dead after a fiery collision and another driver has been arrested on DUI-related charges in connection with the crash.

They say the collision occurred around 3 a.m. Saturday on South Boulder Highway.

Las Vegas Metro Police say a sedan with two occupants was hit from behind by a speeding sports car.

The sedan with a driver and passenger inside caught fire and came to a stop in the parking lot of a convenience store.

Police say both occupants died at the scene.

The victims’ names are being withheld pending positive identification and family notification.

Police say the driver of the sports car was jailed on suspicion of driving impaired. His name and age haven’t been released yet.
