CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Police in Tennessee say they’ve arrested a man in connection with a home invasion that left two people dead.

News outlets report Clarksville Police spokesman Jim Knoll says 34-year-old George Northington was charged Saturday in the death of 33-year-old Deontrea Milligan, who was a resident of the home. Police say 37-year-old Nicoli Jefferies, who was one of the intruders, also died at the scene. Police say both were killed when shots were fired during a fight.

Knoll said multiple adults and two children were at the home late Friday when at least two men entered through an unlocked door.

Authorities say they are trying to locate a man for questioning and more arrests are expected.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether Milligan has an attorney.
