Generally speaking, home-field advantage means everything in sports. Not so for this year’s World Series.

The Washington Nationals did something no other major league team has ever done: They completed a seven-game sweep where each game was won by the visiting team. First the Nationals won two games in Houston. Then the Houston Astros won three games in Washington. Game six was again won by the Nationals in Houston, as was the seventh and deciding championship game.

The 2019 World Series had something for every baseball fan. Hats off to the Washington Nationals for winning it all this year.
