SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Two F-35 fighter jets are set to touch down in Vermont.

WPTZ-TV reports Vermont Air National Guard Lt. Col. Nate Graber will be one of two pilots to bring the jets to the state by next Friday.

Graber will be joined by the squadron commander to head down to Fort Worth, Texas, on Tuesday to pick up the planes.

Graber says the focus of their arrival will be to train service members on the planes known as the most elite fighter jets in the world.
