HARTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in a North Hartland home invasion and armed robbery.

Police said late Thursday that they were searching for Colby Bowen, 29, of Hartland, who they believe is armed and dangerous.

Suspects carrying firearms forcibly entered the home of two female acquaintances, assaulted them, stole cash and fled in a vehicle Thursday morning, police said. The victims suffered minor injuries, police said.

One suspect was found in Wilder and arrested on suspicion of assault and robbery, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, burglary, unlawful mischief and unlawful trespass.

Bowen is described as 5-foot-7-inches, 200 pounds, with blue eyes, short brown hair and a beard. Police are urging anyone who sees him to not approach or engage him and to call 911 immediately.
