PHOENIX (AP) - A suspect has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a man on the balcony of a Phoenix motel last weekend, police said Thursday.

They said 37-year-old Carlos Ramirez has been booked into jail on suspicion of murder and misconduct involving weapons.

The shooting occurred around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police officers found 42-year-old Agustin Bustamante shot. Bustamante died at a hospital.

Police said they developed probable cause to arrest Ramirez on Tuesday.

It’s unclear if Ramirez has a lawyer yet who can speak on his behalf.
