He moved into sports writing when he joined The Washington Times in 1992. He moved to The Washington Examiner as a sports columnist in 2009 and returned to The Washington Times in 2013, where he is currently the lead sports columnist.

Jordan Reed and the NFL’s ineffective concussion protocol

Even with the league's much-ballyhooed 'concussion protocols,' the NFL can't seem to keep injured players like Jordan Reed off the field -- which raises even more troubling questions about how similar injuries were handled 10, 20 and 30 years ago.
