The American Kennel Club announced the winners of the sixth annual ACE awards in five categories:

Therapy: Noodle the Poodle is a favorite of special-education students in Durham, Conn.
Service: Faith, a Rottweiler from Richland, Wash., saved her owner’s life by calling 911 and barking into the phone after Leana Beasley suffered a seizure.
• Exemplary companion: After 9-year-old Ethan Miller of Conyers, Ga., suffered a seizure, his dog Raiah alerted Ethan’s family.
