Ryland Homes is building 192 town homes at the Oaks at Waters Edge in Elkridge, where residents can enjoy a swimming pool and clubhouse.

Each home in this Howard County community will include a partial brick front and a one- or two-car garage.

Inside, all four models feature three bedrooms, one full bath or 21/2 baths, hardwood or ceramic-tile flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, 42-inch cabinets in the center-island kitchen, and a finished lower level.

The homes have about 1,600 to 1,980 finished square feet, with base prices from the low $300,000s.

The Taylor model, with 1,600 square feet, features a lower-level entrance into a foyer, with a staircase along one wall, a large closet, an entrance to the one-car garage, and a finished family room.

The main level features a front living room with a closet along one wall, a second closet near the kitchen, and a country kitchen with a pantry and space for casual dining in the rear of this level.

Upstairs, the master suite has two walk-in closets. This level also includes a linen closet, two more bedrooms and a full bath.

The Lakewood model, with 1,988 square feet, has a two-story foyer, a recreation room, laundry room, two-car garage and an optional powder room on the lower level.

The main level of the Lakewood has a great room, a powder room and a country kitchen with a pantry.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a private full bath with a linen closet and a double-sink vanity.
