SEEN AND HEARD

SEEING ACTION: Rarely used Georgetown forward Sead Didarevic collected a shocking 13 minutes of playing time against the nation's toughest frontcourt last night. The 6-foot-8 sophomore from Serbia & Montenegro played passably against the Huskies, notching four points, a steal and a rebound in his most substantial action of the conference season.

BELTWAY BATTLE: With only one game left before the voting, the Big East Rookie of the Year Award has come down to a pair of regional rivals: Georgetown's Jeff Green (Hyattsville) and Rudy Gay (Baltimore). Both have been named the league's newcomer of the week five times, but Green (13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 blocks) has an edge over Gay (11.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.8 blocks) in every major statistical category other than blocked shots.
