The Washington Times yesterday incorrectly reported a statement by Phil Singer, communications director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Mr. Singer said the DSSC has referred to the U.S. attorney’s office the case of two former researchers who obtained Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele’s credit report. The U.S. attorney will determine whether they acted unlawfully.
