Most memorable house: I had a perfect 10. I sold one of my own listings to a couple who had come to the open house. The buyers had an inspection and determined that the house was “perfect” — no repairs, no regrets, nothing but smiles. The buyers were delighted, the sellers were thrilled, and it was the smoothest sale I ever had. If only they could all be like that.
Worst experience: One of my listings had two dogs in the house that were frequently left unattended. The owners seemed to not care about the property anymore. Before each showing I had to go over to the house and often clean up the mess that the dogs would leave around the house. I am not sure I have had a listing since that I was so glad to have sold.
