Porten Homes is building 29 24-foot-wide town homes on 2,400-square-foot lots at Potomac Corner in Rockville, a neighborhood near Kentlands Square and the Washingtonian Center, shielded from nearby Darnestown Road by a wooded nature preserve.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick and siding exterior, an enclosed rear yard with a private gate, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all three models feature three bedrooms; 21/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer, kitchen, breakfast area and main-level powder room; 9-foot ceilings on all three finished levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace with a marble hearth and surround; 42-inch cabinets, Corian counters and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; ceramic tile flooring in all full baths and lower-level powder room; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; a security system; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 2,187 to 2,545 finished square feet, with base prices from the mid-$700,000s. Homeowner association fees are $95 per month.

The Avenel model, with 2,187 square feet, is priced from the mid-$700,000s. This home features a lower-level entry with an entrance to the garage and to the recreation room, which has a fireplace and adjacent powder room.

The main level has an open living and dining room, a powder room, and an open family room, breakfast area and kitchen in the rear of the home.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a bath. Two more bedrooms share a hall bath.
