KEY PLAYER
Doug Doull, the new Caps winger who played 35 games for Boston in 2003-04, wasted no time providing muscle. He sought an opponent to exchange punches with just four seconds into his first shift with the team after a promotion from Hershey. He and Donald Brashear were both sent off five minutes for fighting at 4:50 of the first period.
