How did you get started in real estate? I had a great mentor who introduced me to the business and gave me superb guidance from Day One until I made it into the top 5 percent of area Realtors in my second year of business.
How long with the current company? Since 2002
Licenses and designations: Real estate sales in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia; accredited buyer representative; graduate, Realtor institute
Associations: Council of Residential Specialists, Northern Virginia Realtors Association, Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors
Greatest accomplishment in the past 12 months: Managing dramatic business growth, new partners, satisfied customers and a balanced personal life
What is your area of specialty? Fairfax, Arlington and Loudoun counties; Northwest Washington including Cleveland Park, Forest Hills, Adams Morgan, Georgetown, Palisades, Chevy Chase; and Montgomery County.
Highest-priced home sold: $2,900,000
Most memorable house: A perfectly restored Tudor in an equally beautiful group of four Tudors in Cleveland Park. This home had been lovingly restored with an artist’s eye and a craftsman’s hand. Within earshot of the National Cathedral bells, this beautiful home nestled in a perfect setting and was entirely genuine.
Worst experience: I had listed a home for my clients, who discovered two days before settlement that they did not have clear title to the home they were selling. Thank goodness for calm in a crisis, strong title insurance and a good attorney.
