SEEN AND HEARD



New Jersey’s Jason Kidd had dominated the Wizards’ Gilbert Arenas in their seven meetings before last night’s game.

Kidd was 5-2 in head-to-head meetings with Arenas, and has outscored him (26.4?13.3), handed out more assists (8.6?3.0) and out-rebounded him (7.0-3.9). Kidd has also shot the ball better than Arenas (48.9 percent?34.5), and he has been better from behind the 3-point line (40.0?30.3)

KEY TO THE GAME

The Wizards gave up more points (41) in the fourth quarter against the Nets than in any quarter this season.
