Hoyas report

Last night at McDonough Arena

BY THE NUMBERS

24 Years since Georgetown lost at McDonough Arena. Since the team’s original homecourt relocation to Capital Centre (1981-82), Georgetown had posted a 25-1 record at McDonough and won 23 straight dating to a 63-52 loss to Connecticut on Jan. 20, 1982.

MICROPHONE MILESTONE

When Georgetown takes the floor against Ball State a week from today, longtime voice of the Hoyas Rich Chvotkin will broadcast his 1,000th game. After that broadcast, Chvotkin will have worked 43.4 percent of the games in the 100-year history of Georgetown hoops.
