Arenas on ‘Live’ cover

THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas has appeared on several magazines this season, but soon he'll appear on a completely different type of cover.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Arenas will appear on the cover of EA Sports' "NBA Live."

Tremendously popular on multiple video game consoles, "NBA Live" has featured Tracy McGrady, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan on the cover.

Arenas, who suffered a torn meniscus earlier this month and is out for the season, is an avid video game player who often goes online and challenges other gamers.

According to the source, Arenas was chosen over Cleveland's LeBron James.

The official announcement could be made as soon as tomorrow.
