The Eastern Shore of Maryland holds an enduring appeal for Washington-area residents who long for the sense of peace that blankets the area in every season. Boating enthusiasts are particularly drawn to the rivers and tributaries that link the Eastern Shore communities with the Chesapeake Bay.
