GolfStyles blog excerpt

Momentum swings

We asked a Washington area teaching pro how things were going on the lesson tee in the wake of Tiger’s season-ending news. He said business was booming. With the phenom out, are you spending less time watching golf and more time tending to your own game?

With all the new-fangled golf equipment getting more and more high tech as well as more and more expensive, shouldn’t golf scores improve accordingly?

Despite the advance in golf technology, handicap trends over the past few decades have remained relatively flat - which reminds us at GolfStyles of a quote: “A good swing can hit any club.”

So the question is, should you spend your money on new equipment or on a new swing?
