1. Greg Maddux, 18: Missed the award in 2003 when Mike Hampton got it.
2. Jim Kaat, 16: Holds the American League record with 14 awards.
3. Bob Gibson, 9: The only member of this list in the Hall of Fame (though Maddux is sure to follow).
4. Bobby Shantz, 8: His first Gold Glove came when there were only nine awarded for all of MLB.
