'Entourage' renewed

Five episodes into its fifth season and on the heels of the third consecutive Emmy for co-star Jeremy Piven, HBO's comedy mainstay "Entourage" has been renewed for a sixth season.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, production on the sixth season of the show, created by Doug Ellin, will begin in early 2009, with a launch slated for next summer.

"Entourage" stars Adrian Grenier as Vince, a once-hot young actor looking for a way to rejuvenate his career; Kevin Connolly as Vince's manager; Kevin Dillon as Vince's half-brother, Johnny "Drama" Chase; Jerry Ferrara as Turtle; Mr. Piven as Ari, Vince's aggressive, high-powered agent; Perrey Reeves as "Mrs. Ari"; and Rex Lee as Ari's suffering assistant, Lloyd.

Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson are the executive producers.

On tap tonight

m Presidential Debate (9 p.m., ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News Channel) - Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican, and Sen. Barack Obama, Illinois Democrat, meet in the second debate of the 2008 presidential race, which features a town-hall format. NBC's Tom Brokaw moderates the live forum from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.

mThe Real Housewives of Atlanta (9 p.m., Bravo) - Series premiere. The lives of five sassy housewives from Atlanta - DeShawn Snow, wife of Cleveland Cavaliers captain Eric Snow; mother and recording artist Kim Zolciak; businesswoman Lisa Wu Hartwell; and local socialites NeNe Leakes and Sheree Whitfield - will be revealed.
