Whether worrying over rising gas prices or simply having no firm plans for the holiday, you can still enjoy the Fourth of July with a feast of television fare to celebrate America's birthday.
Here's a brief list that offers something for everyone:
Marathons
• Cheaters (7 p.m. Saturday, G4) -- Follow the show's detectives as they catch two-timing spouses and significant others on tape in five back-to-back episodes.
• Snapped (8 a.m. Saturday, Oxygen) -- They did the crime, now they must do the time in this documentary series about real-life murders and the women who committed them.
• Clean House (8 a.m., Saturday, Style) -- Get down and dirty from sunup to sundown as host Niecy Nash and her crew transform homes by removing clutter.
• The Twilight Zone (Through Sunday at 6 a.m., Sci Fi) -- Respectfully submitted for your approval: the twice-yearly marathon of the classic CBS series of Rod Serling's fantasy anthology. Made up of science-fiction vignettes, the series' 156 episodes (92 penned by Mr. Serling) were seen during its original run (1959-1964) and will roll nonstop on Sci Fi over the next few days. • Deadliest Catch (9 a.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Monday, Discovery Channel) -- The cable network sets sail on this three-day odyssey of risky adventures at sea that will run continuously - with the exception of overnight programming breaks between 3 and 9 a.m.
• Sister, Sister (9 a.m. Saturday, BET) -- Back-to-back installments of the '90s sitcom (originally seen on ABC) starring real-life twins Tia and Tamera Mowry, Jackee Harry and Tim Reid.
• Sitcom Marathon (11 a.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday, TV Land) -- All your favorites from yesteryear are here: "Leave It to Beaver" (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), "The Andy Griffith Show" (3 to 8 p.m.) and "Roseanne" (8 p.m. to 8 a.m.).
