Unless the free world stands with the Honduran people in defense of their constitution - which their president has attempted to trample - democracy may die and with it the hopes of the Honduran people. In its place, the communist revolution may very well rise again and enslave the Honduran people.

Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan president and a dedicated Marxist, has professed his plans to spread the Marxist revolution throughout Latin America. Mr. Chavez, it has been revealed, is funding the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia rebels in Columbia. He is creating a coalition of leftist governments in Nicaragua, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador, El Salvador and Brazil.

Hatred of America and its values are the fuel that fans the flames of their revolution. America stood up to tyranny at Normandy in 1944, and the world was spared the evil of Nazism. Let us rise up again in defense of the freedom-loving peoples of Latin America and spare the world more suffering like that experienced in North Korea, Vietnam, China, East Germany and other countries victimized by Marxism.
