PLAYER OF THE GAME

Santana Moss

Quiet for most of the game like the rest of the Redskins’ offense, the veteran wide receiver came to life with one big play, a 59-yard touchdown catch from Jason Campbell late in the third quarter that gave Washington its first lead of the game.

PLAY OF THE GAME

Score: Tampa Bay 10, Washington 9

Quarter: Third, 1:29 remaining

Situation: Redskins’ ball, first-and-10 on the Washington 41

The play: As quarterback Jason Campbell faked to running back Clinton Portis, Moss, who was split out to the right, broke downfield. Moss put a double move on cornerback Aqib Talib to gain separation. Campbell, unhurried, threw downfield and hit Moss in stride for a 59-yard touchdown. The Redskins led for the first time 16-10.
