Maryland’s Chism provides big ‘boost’

“He’s really been a tremendous boost for our team,” Friedgen said. “Nolan was playing at a very high level as well. We’re very pleased with the way Cameron has been playing.”

Notes - Friedgen did not rule out left tackle Bruce Campbell (left MCL) for Saturday’s game. Friedgen indicated Sunday he would not play against Wake Forest, though Campbell had an MRI exam Monday. Friedgen did not share the results of the MRI. …

D.J. Adams is listed as the No. 3 tailback, and Friedgen said the team created a package to possibly use with Caleb Porzel, who just returned from a leg injury this week. As for Morgan Green, who began the season as the No. 3 back? “He’s not totally out of it,” Friedgen said. “But we’ve got some young guys. Let’s see what they can do.”
