The Donovan McNabb era for the Washington Redskins will begin Sept. 12 against a team the former Eagles quarterback has had trouble with recently: the Dallas Cowboys.
McNabb lost three games to the Cowboys last season, including the season finale in Philadelphi and the first round of the playoffs in Dallas.
The 2010 season opener, with the Redskins hosting the the rival Cowboys, will be a nationally televised Sunday Night Football game, the first of three national broadcasts for Washington.
Washington also hosts the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night, Oct. 17, and the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, Nov. 15.
