ASHBURN, Va. | Defensive lineman Vonnie Holliday has signed a free-agent deal with the Washington Redskins.
The 34-year-old Holliday had five sacks in 16 games with the Denver Broncos last season, his 12th in the NFL. He also has played for the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Holliday’s signing was announced Monday by Washington. He is the latest in a series of acquisitions along the defensive line by the Redskins this offseason.
