ASHBURN, Va. | After tying an NFL record with four interceptions in a game, DeAngelo Hall is getting his jersey picked off — and shipped to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Washington Redskins cornerback announced Tuesday on Twitter that the No. 23 he wore in Sunday’s 17-14 win over Chicago is on the way to Canton, Ohio.

A spokesman for the Hall of Fame confirmed that it had asked for the jersey.

Hall is the 19th player to intercept four passes in a game, and the first to do it since Deltha O’Neal with Denver in 2001.

Hall tweeted that he is “definitely humbled and honored” by the Hall of Fame’s request.
