O.J. Simpson (Associated Press) more >O.J. Simpson and his prison buddies reportedly squeezed into his 80-square-foot cell to watch the Super Bowl on Simpson's personal television.
"If you have the money, you can buy a TV at the inmate store and put it in your cell," Simpson's friend Norman Pardo told the New York Post.
Simpson is very popular among the other inmates, who were fighting for an invite to the Super Bowl party, Mr. Pardo said.
Simpson, who was convicted in 2008 for kidnapping and armed robbery, is serving a 33-year sentence at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada.
Mr. Pardo is producing "Unpromotable," a movie about Simpson that aims to rehabilitate the former NFL great's image after he was acquitted of double murder in 1995.
"It shows what it's like to promote the most unpromotable man on the planet," the producer told The Post.
