Entertainment Weekly wasn't impressed with first lady Michelle Obama's participation in the 85th Academy Awards on Sunday. The magazine labeled her a "loser" in its "Winners and Losers" section.
"In one of the night's most unnecessary, unnatural pairings, the First Lady teamed up with the three-time Oscar winner [Jack Nicholson] (via satellite) to present the final award. All respect to FLOTUS, but what was she doing there?" EW.com noted. "Not only was it a clear tip-off that 'Argo' would take top honors, it also made us wonder: If Jack [Nicholson is] not enough, who is?"
Anne Hathaway also was deemed a loser for her speech after winning best supporting actress.
