President Obama has nominated John O. Brennan, his security adviser, to be the new CIA director ("Questions abound as Obama restocks his Cabinet," Web, Monday). When the Senate holds Mr. Brennan's confirmation hearings, I hope they will ask him why he always refers to Jerusalem by its Arabic name, al Quds. Everyone in the English-speaking world calls it Jerusalem. It would be interesting to know if this is meant to show a bias toward the Arab world at the expense of Israel. Of course, this would be in keeping with Mr. Obama's policies.
