SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - A tractor-trailer fire has slowed traffic on Interstate 95 in Savannah.
WTOC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1pT0X9W ) one northbound lane of the busy interstate was closed Saturday after a tractor-trailer carrying cars caught fire. Authorities say no injuries have been reported.
The fire was reported at about 3:25 p.m. after the driver noticed smoke coming from the trailer he was using to haul automobiles. The driver managed to pull over and unhook the trailer to keep the flames from spreading to his truck.
Savannah police and firefighters responded to extinguish the fire and manage traffic.
