LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police investigating the fatal shooting of a man on the northwest side of Las Vegas are looking for a woman who was driving a car with him before he was seen falling out of the passenger side of the vehicle.
Police said the man had been shot multiple times and was declared dead at the scene about 3:45 a.m. Saturday at a housing complex near West Lake Mead Boulevard.
Detectives identified a person of interest in the case as 27-year-old Stacey Thomas - a black woman with black hair, brown eyes, 5-foot-8, 285 pounds. They’re also looking for a red 2005, four-door Hyundai Accent with Nevada plates 953LHT.
Police say the victim fell out of a car before an unknown woman got out of the driver’s side, walked over to the victim, then drove away.
