CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Former NFL coach Sam Wyche has joined the Medal of Honor Bowl’s national board of directors.
Bowl chairman Tommy McQueeney of the college all-star game based in Charleston announced Wyche’s addition Monday.
Wyche had spent the past two years working with a college all-star game played in South Carolina’s Upstate. That game’s founder David Wyatt also joined the Medal of Honor Bowl earlier this month.
The College All-Star Bowl is not expected to be played next year.
The Medal of Honor Bowl will be held for a second-straight year at Citadel’s Johnson Hagood Stadium on January 10th.
