THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - Officials say two people have died in mobile home fire in Thibodaux.

State Fire Marshal Butch Browning says the fire is under investigation and the victims’ names will not be released until the family is notified. Browning said the victims are a 70-year-old male and 64-year-old female.

He says a passer-by discovered the fire when it was already involved. No one else was in the trailer.



Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department safety officer Chris Riviere tells The Courier (https://bit.ly/1v7P97n ) his department responded to the fire around 12:17 a.m. Tuesday.
