GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - The chancellor at the University of North Carolina Greensboro says campus police and the district attorney’s office initiated felony charges against three former employees, not school officials.

The News & Record of Greensboro reported (https://bit.ly/1EdyOBV) Chancellor Linda Brady sent an email Friday night saying no campus administrators were involved in the pursuit of the case against three former employees, charged with working freelance jobs on university time with university equipment.

Meanwhile, the UNCG Board of Trustees will hold a previously unscheduled meeting at 9 a.m. Monday to discuss a personnel item. State doesn’t require that the meeting notice name the employee whom trustees will discuss, and it did not.

UNCG fired two photographers and their supervisor on Sept. 24 after a three-week investigation.
