LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wildlife officials are asking for the public’s help in finding whoever illegally killed a pregnant pronghorn antelope doe and dumped the carcass near a church in Laramie.

Bill Brinegar, a game warden for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, says the doe was likely dumped in a field near the First Church of the Nazarene on Friday. The doe was pregnant with twin fawns.

Brinegar hopes to speak with the driver of a pickup seen near the church Friday night. The truck is a newer model, dark-colored, four-door, dual-wheeled vehicle with a custom bumper and grill guard and a toolbox or welder in the back.

Brinegar says that within the past week, another pronghorn carcass was found in a trash bin at the church but was taken to the landfill before wardens could investigate.
