ROCKLAND, Maine (AP) - The Maine Lobster Festival is wrapping in Rockland, Maine, with a contest in which children carry cod fish.

The festival is a celebration of the state’s biggest tourist attraction and signature treat, the lobster. Sunday is the final day of this year’s five-day festival. The Children’s Cod Fish Carry is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.

The festival also includes a parade and a carnival. It’s taking place in Rockland’s Harbor Park. It first took place in 1947.
