DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) - AAA Michigan says gas prices statewide have dropped about 10 cents in the past week.

The Dearborn-based auto club says the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was about $2.26 per gallon on Sunday. That’s about $1.24 less than at the same point a year ago.

According to AAA Michigan, gas prices have fallen four weeks in a row.

The auto club surveys daily fuel prices at 2,800 gas stations across the state. The lowest average price is about $2.16 per gallon in the Flint area, while the highest average is about $2.33 in the Ann Arbor area.
