RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - A barn on a research farm at North Carolina State University has burned.
Fire officials tell WNCN-TV (https://bit.ly/2aVRnmV ) that a three-sided building holding chicken waste caught fire early Monday morning at the school’s Lake Wheeler Road farm.
Authorities say they don’t think the fire was set intentionally. But officials tell the station that the same barn caught fire several years ago.
Firefighters from several departments responded to the scene. An ambulance was sent as a precaution, but no injuries were reported.
