WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - A fourth man has been charged in the fatal shooting last year of a former Worcester high school football star.

Telegram & Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2gL1goH ) 20-year-old Jovante Daye, of Worcester, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to murder and other charges in the May 2015 shooting of 18-year-old Samuel Castro.

The defense and prosecution agreed that Daye be held without bail without prejudice, which allows for a bail hearing.

Three other men have been indicted on charges stemming from Castro’s death.

Castro is a former standout athlete at North High School.

Police have not disclosed a possible motive for the shooting.
