Body found west of Fern Ridge Lake

VENETA, Ore. (AP) - Investigators want to identify a body found west of Fern Ridge Lake outside Eugene.

KEZI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2hgj8HZ) a hunter spotted the body between Veneta and Elmira on Friday near the Fern Ridge Wildlife Area.

Lane County Sheriff’s Office investigators do not know whether foul play was involved or if the person found was a man or woman.
